Best (Tasty) Things to do for under $5
May 8, 2008The hot dog combo at IKEA is $2.50 for 2 hot dogs, chips and a drink (which means lingonberry drink or you don’t deserve to be in this store.) All of these things are delicious and you get all of them for $2.50. And if you’re hankering for some dessert, they have 2 cinnamon rolls for a dollar.
Some people may like the swedish meatballs and the trout or whatever they have upstairs, but downstairs is for genuine IKEA lovers who just want a hot dog and 5 extra dollars to spend on modern, plastic household items.
The second best part about this store is that it’s in Round Rock, an easy 30 minute drive (without traffic). The nearest store to my hometown is in Frisco and involves Dallas North Tollroad and most likely death and/or fines.
I don’t have an IKEA nearby; but, your comment about the drink brought a smile to my face.

I don’t even understand how the hot dogs are so good. And I don’t understand what lingonberry drink is but it’s amazing too.
