Clothes op

May 16, 2008

I remember the awkward and oh so self conscious days of middle school when I hated the thought of clothes from Wal Mart. I sound snobby, but it was mostly a product of the cool Hollicrombie image that a lot of kids admired. We mostly shopped at Target, which is a couple steps up. But I visited the old hometown Wal Mart today with surprisingly no awkward run-ins AND to top it off I found out that WM has cool clothes now.

They’ve just started selling Ocean Pacific brand, a surf clothing company from California, and their new summer clothes and swimsuits are cute. Oh and they guy’s clothes are rugged and manly. The best thing is that it’s Wal Mart and it’s cheap, so I don’t have to be sad that I can’t ever afford anything in PacSun or Hollicrombie. Oh yea.

They also have a brand called Metro 7, with young, hip professional type clothes.

Worth every penny

I love Target all around. But I especially (sometimes) love the clearance rack in the clothes section. Most of the time, it’s just size xxs and xxugly shirts, but sometimes you hit the jackpot. Like with these old lady mariner-time cruise pants. Yea, check it out.
