Every Memorial Day weekend (and Labor Day weekend to close out the summer), Splash takes place, which not having been yet I can only describe as a big gay beach party. I’m going to be out there today and I’ve been told that there’s so many people at this event that everyone wears swimsuits. The nudity is evidently kept to a minimum and mostly in the woods.

It’s $10 to get in with a car and though no open alcohol containers are allowed, the park kind of overlooks this on Splash weekend, just make sure they don’t see anything when you drive in. I think it’ll be fun and hopefully the scenery will be nicer without naked hippies covering the beach.
