Lazy academic bums

May 1, 2008

After further research, the link to the MLA generator I gave is not helpful. Sorry. Why? Other than obvious reasons, it has a choice for web pages but not for online articles, which is mostly what you young whipper snappers are lookin’ at these days. I’ve decided that having an MLA book or just looking at online examples is more helpful.

I mean, I’m lazy but not this lazy. I didn’t realize people would pay for this. (Mybibpro, by the way is a terrible site name.) It’s only $7.99 per year but that’s $7.99 you could spend on lunch.

The Final Countdown

May 1, 2008

If you’re up late like I am, wishing death upon whoever invented papers, projects and tests, you might want some study tips. Or maybe some Adderall, but I can’t help you with that. For me, MLA citations are the worst, I mean I know it’s the easiest part of the paper, but why does it take like 5 minutes to do each one? You have to have the MLA tab, your word doc and the online website you’re most likely using and try to follow that stupid formula. That’s why I like cheating. (Only on the citations!)

This site is one step above Command, but I guess it works, you just put in the info and it makes a beautiful little citation for you.

I also like this site, you can make flashcards online and it’s kind of fun. Makes angular momentum quantum numbers feel like you’re studying 4th grade math. Promise.

Added bonus: You save a lot of paper and don’t drop 200 highlighted, perfectly organized flashcards all over yourself.
