Uhh… yeah podcasts

I realize I’m pretty behind the curve on this one, but for anyone like me who hasn’t discovered the world of podcasts or is just beginning to navigate the sea of FREE episodes waiting for your download, I recently found a pretty entertaining show.

It’s called Uhh Yeah Dude and is comprised of Jonathan Larroquette and Seth Romatelli, two guys from “HollywUYD” who discuss popular and weird news in a hilarious way. I’m a journalism major, but I hate sorting through all the news sites and papers sometimes so it’s refreshing that these guys make it fun.

Their tagline is “A weekly roundup of America through the eyes of two American Americans.” Check it out in the itunes store under podcasts or visit their site to subscribe. They also have a You Tube channel with videos of their broadcasts.

While you’re in podcast world you have to listen to the most popular comedy channel, The Ricky Gervais Podcast. Ricky Gervais, Steve Merchant relentlessly mock Karl Pilkington and his outlandish ideas. If you’re a fan of The Office, (UK or US) or you know….comedy, you will love it.

It’s never too late to be beautiful

So, I know you’ve probably hear the song Apologize by Onerepublic on the radio. I know it’s been around for a while, on myspace, then picked up by Timbaland (I get so angry when they say Timbaland featuring onerepublic. He added a little more beat to it. Wooo.)

Anyway, this song never gets old to me because it’s just so beautiful–the lyrics and the music. And I don’t know why I’d never looked up the music video but I did today on youtube. I’m so glad this song has such a beautiful video too. I think this is the real one. If it isn’t, it should be.

This video honestly made me cry at the end. That’s art. So is this.
